Acne Scar Pigmentation are Sometimes manifestation of recurring and long-standing acne; It can damage the skin surface leading various types of scars such as pits, ice pick, box type, rolling scars.

Pigmentation also increases with excessive sun exposure. Hyper-pigmentation can affect any part of body including face, back, hands and neck. Teenage acne is a major cause for many adults being left with unsightly acne scars.

What are the treatment options ?

Treatment for fading dark pigmentation patches include a combination of Chemical Peels and Masks. At the same time, mild-to-strong range of peels also help in lightening the dark pigmentation. We also use highly advanced Facial Masks like Cosmelan, Dermamelan that remarkably reduce the skin pigmentation. Depending on grade of the acne  dermatologist can recommend any one or combination of following treatments.

Oinment based : A mix of topical ointments are given depending upon the severity of the conditions.
